Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund and Return Policy applies to purchases made through Sheds Builder, operated by BUILDINGS AND SHEDS LIMITED, Company Number 16852382.

1. Change-of-Mind Returns

You may cancel your online order without giving a reason by contacting us within 14 days of receiving your order.

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you must return the product within a further 14 days.

• Order number
• Product being returned
• Reason for the return, where applicable
• Photographs if the product is damaged or faulty

Due to the high volume of enquiries we receive, email is our preferred contact method because it provides a clear and transparent written record.

2. Return Conditions

Products returned because of a change of mind should be:

• Complete and in their original condition
• Securely packaged for transport
• Returned with all parts, accessories and instructions
• Accompanied by proof of purchase

You may inspect the product as you would reasonably inspect it in a physical shop.

We may reduce the refund if the product has lost value because it was assembled, installed, altered, used outdoors, damaged or handled beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect it.

3. Large and Bulky Products

Many of our sheds and outdoor storage products are large and bulky.

Please contact us before returning any product so we can provide the correct return instructions.

For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the direct cost of returning the product. Return transportation costs for large products may be significant.

The product remains your responsibility until it is received at our approved return location. We recommend using an appropriately insured and trackable delivery service.

4. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Contact us promptly if your order:

• Arrives damaged
• Contains missing components
• Is faulty
• Is not as described
• Is different from the product ordered

Email support@shedsbuilder.co.uk with your order number, a description of the problem and clear photographs of the product, packaging and delivery condition.

Where a product is confirmed as damaged, faulty or incorrect, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement, collection or refund.

We will cover reasonable return or collection costs where the product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

Nothing in this policy limits your legal rights regarding products that are faulty, not as described or not fit for their intended purpose.

5. Delivery Damage

Where possible, check the packaging before accepting delivery.

If visible damage is present, note it on the delivery record and take photographs before opening or assembling the product.

Reporting delivery damage promptly helps us investigate the matter with the delivery provider. A delay in reporting damage does not remove your statutory consumer rights.

6. Customised Products

The change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to products that have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

7. Products That Cannot Be Returned

We may be unable to accept a change-of-mind return where a product has been:

• Permanently installed or fixed to the ground
• Altered, painted, cut or modified
• Damaged after delivery
• Used beyond what was necessary to inspect it
• Returned with missing components
• Made to your specifications or personalised

These restrictions do not apply where the product was faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

8. Refunds

Once your return has been received, we will inspect the product and notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Refunds will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the returned product or acceptable evidence that it has been returned.

Where applicable, we will refund the cost of standard outbound delivery. Additional charges paid for an upgraded or premium delivery service are not normally refundable beyond the cost of standard delivery.

Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the refund in your account.

9. Return Address

Do not return a product without first contacting our support team and receiving the correct return instructions.
